Lisa Rhoads | Chair of the Board

Ms. Rhoads is the managing director of the Alberleen Group LLC, an advisory and merchant banking firm servicing middle market companies and family office investors, where she focuses on creating and executing new healthcare private equity investment strategies and expanding healthcare practices across the merchant banking and advisory business. Prior to her work with the Alberleen Group, Ms. Rhoads was the managing director of Easton Capital, a leading venture capital fund with a sector focus in healthcare and life sciences. Ms. Rhoads was also a founding member of the management team for Celtic Pharma, a Bermuda-based global biotech private equity firm. Ms. Rhoads spent nearly a decade acquiring and developing a portfolio of later- stage biotech programs where she was involved with all aspects of the development process and managed intellectual property portfolios. Ms. Rhoads has served on numerous portfolio company boards where she has assisted with product development and strategic acquisitions. Ms. Rhoads holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from The Wharton School of Business.

Thomas J. Chisholm | Board Member

As the founder and CEO of Viecore, Tom built the company into a leading software development and system integration firm specializing in enterprise-level customer interaction solutions. Tom enhanced Viecore’s offering through development of strategic partnerships with technology leaders such as IBM, Microsoft, Avaya, Financial Fusion and Nuance. Tom architected the sale of the company to Nuance in 2008, creating one of the world’s most widely recognized enterprise service organizations focused on customer care and interactions within the contact center space. Prior to Viecore, Tom held executive positions in United Technologies, Telex, and ITT. Tom has been recognized for his leadership style and ebullient efforts with numerous awards from industry giants such as IBM and Genesys. Tom is currently the CEO of Chisholm Ventures LLC.

Peter Dalton | Board Member

Peter is the former Managing Partner of Dalton Partners, a national corporate turnaround firm that provided investment capital and human capital to companies in need of remediation.  He has acted as Chairman and CEO, in many of these companies, and has served on 35 boards of directors of both public and private companies.  He has had a leadership role in the following companies: CEO Allied Western Corp, CEO Telephone Express Network, CEO KLM Electronics, Inc., CEO U S Textile Corp, CEO EPRO Corp, CEO Morpheus Lights, CEO Globalstar Corp.

Peter is experienced in strategic partnering and has structured and executed mergers, acquisitions, and sales of many companies. He has successfully executed roll-up strategies in a variety of industries, from the candle industry to communications.  As CEO he grew KLM more than 20 times its size in four years with no outside financing, and tripled the size of Allied Western in three years.  He has performed turnarounds for Special Asset Departments of banks, restructured credit and debt, and repositioned troubled companies into new markets and next generation technology.  Peter has arranged significant financing for new, restart and growing companies and has raised large amounts of capital on Wall Street for public and private companies. Peter won the design achievement award at the Consumer Electronics Show 3 different times and was identified by CNN as “leading edge” with his technology initiatives.  He has lectured at Stanford University, La Salle University, and Santa Clara University where he was  an Executive Fellow, and been published a number of times.

Will Fleming | Board Member

A market innovator, Will has 20 years of experience building profitable growth companies and creating markets for new technology-based services both domestically and internationally. Will is known for identifying and understanding consumer trends and applying those data-driven insights to deliver products that are both relevant and ahead of the curve. In 2000, Will co-founded MotionPoint, a technology innovator that has been recognized by both Inc. Magazine and Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. and North America. To further establish MotionPoint as the worldwide leader in website globalization services, Will led significant rounds of funding with Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and Riverwood Capital. Before establishing MotionPoint, Will co-founded Convenience Products Corporation, a company he grew into a nationwide leader that helped create a market for prepaid calling card and prepaid wireless products. It was ultimately acquired by AT&T. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Carleton and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Tam Hulusi | Board Member

Tam is a principal of Mycroft LLC, a technology strategy and innovation consulting group. Tam most recently served as Senior Vice President, Strategy & Innovation at HID Global.  He previously served as President of SMF Systems Technology Corp., a leading small-business Federal Government IT services provider and President of Newmark Technology Inc., an early stage RFID asset tracking company.  He has also worked in the security industry with Honeywell and Group4. Tam is an inventor with ten patents.  He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Institute of Polymer Science, University of Essex, and M.Sc. in Quantum Mechanics from the University of Sussex.  He is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s International Senior Management Program.

Joaquin B. Viso | Board Member

Joaquín B. Viso is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Grupo VL, LLC and Chairman of the Board of Directors of GVL Holdings, LLC and MC-21 Corporation, firms dedicated to provide pharmacy benefits management services to health insurance providers and to other healthcare related activities internationally. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico. Joaquin has served on several other Boards including Patheon Inc., the Puerto Rico Governor’s Strategic Advisory Council, the Corporation for Technological Transformation, Genomas, Inc., Scotiabank of Puerto Rico and the Advisory Board of Banco Popular de Puerto Rico.  Earlier in his career, Joaquin was President and General Manager of SmithKline (now Glaxo SmithKline) operations in Puerto Rico.  Joaquin was named “Businessman of the Year” at the national level by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the Distinguished Award by the International Center of New York.

Karl F. Weintz | President & Chief Executive Officer

Karl has broad experience leading security and technology businesses through hyper-growth and drastic industry consolidation. He was recently Chief Operating Officer of CoreStreet, the leader in Credential Validation solutions for Identity & Access Management technologies for cyber, homeland and physical security. He successfully grew the business to profitability and sold it to ActivIdentity, world leader in Identity Assurance software. While at ActivIdentity he ran Worldwide Sales, Marketing and Corporate Development and was instrumental in the subsequent sale of ActivIdentity to HID Global, part of ASSA ABLOY. Karl started his career at NASA, where he led the mechanical design, analysis and integration team for an experiment that flew on the Space Shuttle Endeavor. Karl holds a master of business administration degree from Harvard Business School, a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, as well as a bachelor of arts in anthropology from Stanford University.
