Mr. Johnson served as Corporate Director and Chairman of the Board of Cross Match Technologies, Inc., from September 1997 through August 2006 and served as Chief Executive Officer of Cross Match Technologies from October 1997 through August 2005. At Cross Match Technologies, he successfully steered the company from a start-up technology venture to a successful enterprise. Mr. Johnson, a seasoned industy veteran, has held executive positions in management, sales and marketing and investment banking. He was with UBS Paine Webber for 25 years, where he was a Corporate Director and Executive Vice President for Eastern United States and Latin Americas Distribution. Prior to joining Paine-Webber, Mr. Johnson served as Executive Vice President, Director and Member of the Executive Committee of Hornblower & Weeks-Hemphill Noyes.
